Privacy Policy
Last updated October 29, 2026
Well Dunn Catering, based in Washington, DC, USA, respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect and use personal information through our website and the services connected to it.
Information you provide
When you contact us about an event, we collect the information you submit, such as your name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method, event date and location, estimated guest count and budget, referral source, and message.
When you apply for a job, we collect your name, email address, position of interest, résumé and other attachments, comments, and any age eligibility information you choose to provide.
When you subscribe to email updates, we collect your email address and a record of your subscription consent. Please avoid including Social Security numbers, payment card details, or other unnecessary sensitive information in website forms or attachments.
When you submit a form, our website also records the submission time and available technical information, including your IP address, browser information, referring page, and country. We use these details to administer submissions, troubleshoot problems, and help protect against abuse.
How we use information
We use personal information to respond to inquiries, discuss and plan events, review job applications, communicate with applicants, manage email subscriptions, maintain business records, protect the website, and understand and improve how visitors use it. If you request marketing emails, we use your information to send those communications.
Website analytics, cookies, and session recordings
We use Google Analytics and PostHog to understand website traffic and interactions. These services may use cookies or similar technologies and process information such as pages visited, interactions, referral sources, device and browser details, IP addresses, and identifiers associated with your browser.
Our Google Analytics configuration has Google signals and Google’s user-provided data collection disabled, with optional account-level data sharing turned off. Email-address redaction is enabled to help prevent email addresses from being included in Google Analytics events. This is a best-effort safeguard and does not guarantee removal of every instance of personal information.
We may use PostHog session recordings to understand how visitors navigate and use the website. Our PostHog configuration masks form inputs and blocks our forms from recordings and automatic interaction capture.
After a successful contact inquiry or job application, we associate your submitted name and email address with your PostHog visitor profile. This can connect your submission with previously recorded activity from the same browser. Résumés, attachments, message contents, and other form answers are excluded from this automatic capture and recording; name and email identification is handled separately.
We also send selected form-event details to PostHog, such as whether a submission succeeded, the form type, preferred contact method, marketing subscription choice, and the number of application attachments. PostHog also receives diagnostic information about browser errors and form outcomes to help us find and fix website problems. This does not include résumé contents, attachment filenames, or message text.
For more information about Google’s processing, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Information about PostHog’s processing is available in PostHog’s Privacy Policy.
You can use browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies alone may not stop all analytics requests. Google also offers a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers; it applies to Google Analytics, not PostHog. Contact us with questions about analytics associated with your information.
Spam prevention
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent spam. Cloudflare processes technical and browser information to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated activity. Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum applies.
How information is shared
Well Dunn does not sell personal information.
Information is available to staff who handle inquiries, event planning, recruitment, subscriptions, and website administration. Form submissions may be delivered to staff by email, including application attachments when supported.
We use service providers for website hosting, storage, security, email delivery, analytics, and newsletter management, including Cloudflare, Google Analytics, PostHog, and Mailchimp. We also use other business systems to manage our operations. Relevant information may be processed in those systems for the purposes described in this policy.
We may disclose information when required by law or as reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the security of our services.
Where information is processed
Well Dunn operates in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. Our Washington, DC location does not mean all website information is stored or processed there.
How long we keep information
Website form submissions and uploaded application documents do not currently have a fixed automatic deletion period. Copies in staff mailboxes, connected business systems, newsletter services, and analytics systems have separate retention settings and practices. Backup copies remain until their scheduled expiration.
Deleting a record from one system does not automatically remove copies from other systems or backups. You can contact us to request deletion; some information may need to be retained for applicable legal or recordkeeping obligations.
Your choices and privacy requests
You may contact info@welldunn.com to ask about your personal information, request access or correction, request deletion, or stop marketing communications. You may also use the unsubscribe link in marketing emails. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and applicable legal or recordkeeping obligations may limit what we can delete.
Unsubscribing stops marketing emails but does not by itself delete the separate signup record stored on our website or other business records. Please contact us if you also want those records reviewed for deletion.
Privacy rights vary depending on where you live and which laws apply. This policy does not limit rights provided by applicable law.
Security
Our website uses access controls to restrict administrative access to submissions and application documents. No website, email system, or storage service can guarantee complete security.
Links to other websites
Our website links to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or legal requirements change. The date above shows when this policy was last updated.
