Everyone has their story. Ours starts with a party.

Steve became known for his welcoming spirit and honest nature. For him, mere objects and rare ingredients weren't the only measures of elegance. He defined it by that feeling one is left with, from the level of care, intent, and goodwill. Most of all, Steve treated everyone as a guest - believing that the guests being served are equally as important as the gracious hands serving them.

Parties with friends, turned into catering for friends. And soon after, Steve found himself catering for dignitaries, board members, their families, and their biggest milestones. With time and dedication, Well Dunn was able to grow its expertise and earn the trust of DC’s most prestigious spaces, institutions, brands, and private homes.

2023

From his early and humble beginnings as a waiter, Paul Varga has always had a passion for the culinary world and hospitality and has dedicated over thirty years to developing, growing and managing hospitality teams. Paul shares in Steve’s original vision for Well Dunn and since becoming President & CEO, he works to propel that vision and grow the company’s capabilities.

The Townhouse

An homage to the early days of the company, the Townhouse is a dedicated creative space, to test and create new offerings, to train and grow our hospitality team, and to entertain clients and friends. Though separate from our headquarters and main kitchen, it’s a beloved space for us to gather and host, as our founder once did when starting the company. 

 

Operating hours for the Townhouse are by appointment only.
